  Announcement!!

Continuing our mission of "Building a community in which Chinese-Americans are able to face the end of life with dignity, respect, and meaning," we are excited to join forces with Hospice Foundation of America (HFA) on their special issue of Journeys -- A Newsletter to Help in Bereavement. The first English-Chinese issue of Journeys, "Doing Everything We Can," was authored by CACCC Founder Sandy Chen Stokes and CACCC Senior Consultant Phil Stokes. "It is designed to help with medical decisions related to caring for a terminally ill family member or friend. In this situation, it is natural for family members to wonder if they are doing the right thing, since it is not always clear what 'Doing the Right thing' means. Family members may actually feel guilty -- sometimes long after the loved one dies -- if there are doubts about whether they made the right decision. This issue offers a way to avoid that guilt" To order copies for your professional or personal use, visit http://store.hospicefoundation.org/product.php?productid=181&cat=11&page=1 .
